Water leak

Help - is there anyone near block 275. Just received the following from Resortalia, can anyone give us more info please, we're panicking.

Subject: 19338 - Insurance Repair Block 275 - Terrazas de la Torre
Dear Owner of Ground floor G and Ground Floor H of Block 275 in Terrazas de la Torre,

May we inform you that we received from security the communication that both of you had two water spots, one on the terrace and one in the front of the apartment 2750H. May we inform you that we have reported it to the insurance and also reported to close the valve of water in apartment 1ºH in order to prevent more water leaking. The owner has been also just informed about it.

The incident has been reported to the insurance of the community and will be repaired once the origin is sorted out.
We will keep you informed about the progress.

Dianne/Jeff, not the kind of email you ever want to receive, I've emailed my key holder and asked them to check when they are next passing by and to find out anymore information they can, the owners of
0G are in Australia I think if it's elaines apartment I could be wrong.
1H Above you is empty and not been inhabited as far as I know well it wasn't 4 weeks ago.
I hope it's nothing to serious, do you have a key holder or does Oscar still have a set of your keys?.

Hi Richard,

We do have keys over there as we have not yet changed the lock. The foreman on site has a key as he needed to get in to do some repairs, Mark also has access to a key for some jobs he doing for us.

If access is needed quickly the above keys, otherwise Henry has kindly offered to check it out when he comes over.

Yes, Graham and Elaine are in OZ and are not due out until March, same as us.

We will wait anxiously for any updates. Do we know if the air con unit holes have been sorted out yet?

Its near midnight and just got in and seen the message from Richard.  Will have a look first thing tomorrow and report back.  If there is a set of keys still with the solicitors let me know and I can get them to have a look inside.  Is it possible Polaris World still have a key for snagging - if so I can get from them but will need written permission so send me a private reply.  Carol

Have been round the problem is coming from 2751H boiler cupboard and Polaris World will be coming out tomorrow to inspect.  Have asked that we are kept informed.  2750H although the wall above the patio is wet it has not had any effect inside, there is a smaller water mark on 2750G wall so assume (cant guarantee without going inside) that inside has not been effected.  Carol & Roy

Things like this really show why it's a good idea to have a key holder that is on site.

We have also been informed about the water leak and Resortalia have said it it being repaired today, 9 January, they think they can do it from the outside. Our son, Mark was in the apartment on Sunday and he could not see any damp inside our apartment but he has given his details to Resortalia if they need to contact him. If I hear any more, I will post it on this site. We are in Australia basking in 32 degrees today and off to the beach later. Hope everybody is well. Elaine And Graham
