Car hire

Hi, Ive used them twice and had no problems at all.

i hired a car over xmas with dickmans all fine till i got home and checked my credit card dickmans had taken 150 euros without my knowledge, i contacted dickmans apparently it was for damage/scratchs on the bumper as i had not filled out a damage report i was charged, told them no staff around to hand keys to or check the car over, i had also puchased the extra insurance so i thought i was covered, numerous emails later they refunded the 150 euros after my credit card company stepped in so beware

Car hire was fine, except for the fact they're off the airport now, so a bit of waiting around. However, we got stung with the fact they took 600 euros off hubby's card instead of the 300 euros stated as we didn't take out the extra insurance, then put it back, but we lost so much on the exchange rate, so next time I've told him to use his credit card and not his cash card. Car was okay though, except for all the extras. Normally I hire through Greg at cheapholidaycars as there are no extras whatsoever but he was fully booked that time. btw has anybody heard if he's still operating as I've emailed him twice recently, but no reply so far.
