Hi Erinzak , the reasons are as stated below in everyones  mail ,however also I hope the mistakes of the nitty gritty in phase 1 of Roda wont be repeated in Corvera hence the sticker once upon a time of the customer services in Roda pointing out where to place your complaints.Am sure Roda will be a good golf and beach club however would prefer to live within the concept of Corvera. Construction has not moved forward on the development apart from the infrastructure and nothing will until the local elections are over so dont envisage actual building starting at the earliest end June onwards when they get last license.

I've got a couple of units on Corvera...eggs in one basket springs to mind!! The reasons for buying there , rather than anywhere else still hold good. I think transport links are very good especially with the new airport being built...and we were assured last time we visited that there was a new road being built from the airport to Corvera. This will give the area an International demand, which added to all the good things mentioned here on the Board already add up to a solid package. I would also say that the demand for the properties is 40% Spanish local and holiday home, so there is a strong demand basis which should shore up prices if general prices for lesser quality resorts fall. Lastly I'm not too bothered if the building schedule slips as we are in it for the long haul as well.

Just wanted to say I listened to the Podcast by Patrick Robinson on mortgages... very interesting and informative. I've also spoken to him twice and he seems a genuine, professional guy. I will be considering him helping me with my mortgage but have a listen it's still on the site.

Also just for everyones info and no I don't work for Talk Talk but their all inclusive monthly price plan makes all calls to Europe and overseas free for up to 70 mins then you have to re dial. I have talked to Patrick about mortgages in Spain and the call cost me nothing. If you're having to make lots of Spanish calls it's worth looking at ......Talk 3 international is the plan. It even includes calls to U.S.A mobile phones!
