We have used Greg a few times but had already taken the decision not to use him this year. Aside from the airport pick up, there isnt a great deal of saving for us as we dont visit during peak times and only need a small hatchback. If we needed a people carrier for 4 weeks in the summer I imagine the savings are considerable
Got a list of amusing incidents with the cars we've had, usually one or more doors wont lock, colour of doors often dont match the rest of the car & numerous knobs have fallen off at inappropriate times! Final straw for us was on the last visit when our pick up driver got stopped by the police 5 mins after picking us up from Alicante airport. He got accused of operating as an unlicensed taxi driver despite his protests that he works for a hire car company
We decided we need a less stressful Spanish driving experience this year although we'll miss the laughs!
