First car accident on site

While at the site today, we saw a car sitting astride the wall, having knocked down two pillars, and mangled a gate....This was a hire car driven by an owner, who was too distraught to tell us much !!!!!     Location = first block of bungalows/penthouses, facing the village, wall taken out belongs to the end attached villa and the first bungalow ! Gate belonged to the attached villa.  We could not ascertain where the driver lived.  Car is a write off, and will have to be either lifted off the wall, or the wall totally demolished....will this mean we will have to suffer speed bumps on the estate ?  If it is still there tomorrow, we will take photographs.

Any news on that poor bloke who crashed into the wall. I bet he was in shock. Wonder what with being a hire car and not familiar whether he just lost control, cant imagine he would speed on the site???

Hi Pat and Jim                   I have posted some photographs of the aftermath of the accident, and as you can see, the wall was hit with some considerable force !!!!  The driver was a woman, who would not take her head out of her hands for long enough to be able to tell us anything !!     This will probably result in those horrible speed bumps being stationed around the estate now !!

Can't picture what must have happened, just glad it was not me driving! or was my property. Hope the weather gets better for when we sign in May
