Cooker Hob

Hi

Can anyone tell me what type of hobs are fitted in the apartments (I'm in block 30)? Are they induction hobs as I'm looking for some new pans to bring over and not all pans are suitable for these type of hobs. If not what type are they classed as?

The hobs are not induction hobs, fat chance of that, as these are three times more expensive than the one fitted which are ceramic hobs. The thing  whic is a must with ceramic tops is not to use old  pans with warped bases as they will ruin the hob glass by creating uneven heat spots, leading to premature failing of the elements.
