Bank with English Speaking Staff?

Hi

Could anybody tell me if there is a bank that they use local to Condado that has helpful English speaking staff?  I already know about Santander at Camposol, the lady there is very helpful but the account fees are really high so was just wondering if there were any more.

We already have a Bankia account but it is going to be closed down by the bank in the next couple of weeks so we need to get a new account opened when we come out next week.

Lloyds in the port beside the old Mercado a has English staff

Banco Sabasell in the  Pyramid centre in the Port (Mercadona). Free banking with the expansion account if you pay in 700Euros per month. Also internet banking with site in english.

It used to be expensive for non resident accounts but no idea of charges for this nowadays.

Sabadell charges €16.50 a quarter for a current account, and €25 a year for a debit card.

Lloyds has merged with Banco Sabadell,and business moved to the branch at Avenue Dr Meca in Puerto de Mazarron where there are  English speaking staff.
