Hi everyone
I used to live in LA and am looking to move back out full time. Does anyone registered here actually live full time on Roda Golf. I was looking to get the perspective of someone who lives there full time.
The place looks great in photos and the comments left here are quite useful but the people who seem to comment the most here, go out two or three times a year as owners. I would like to hear from anyone who lives at Roda Golf all year round.
Does the constant change of neighbours bother you, are the holiday makers a noisy nuisance, what sort of age group live there, what is the cost of a round of golf, are the security gates get manned year round (they always used to be when I dropped people off there many years ago), how much are the community fees, what do the community fees cover, how difficult is it to get high speed broadband or English TV (like Sky).
I know LA used to be very much a summer place with the majority of homes being owned by Spanish from Madrid and other areas of Spain. This was fine for me but I know people did have worries about crime. There also seemed to be a lot of transient Morrocans selling rubbish in the area all the time, is this the case on Roda Golf or surrounding village.
I would love to hear the thoughts of anyone that lives there full time, what delights you, what annoys you, what would you change and what is its biggest selling point from the point of a full time resident.
Thanks for any input.
Alan
