Is anyone up to date with time scales for the final phases? Is Gomendio still building a commercial area with its own shops and restaurants? Does anyone know when the final frontline pase will be completed? Is it 2009?

Any info would be most helpful.

Hi, I didn't know aobu the commercial area?  Can y ou elloborate?  Do you know what's happening on the site next to Punta Prima. That huge mass of land of the N322? Is that owned by Gomiendo too?  When I was there at Easter it looked like they were clearing the land?

When I used to sell the aprtmemts at Punta Prima Gomendio told us that a man made beach would be put in and a promenade by 2007. We were also told that planning had been approved by the town hall for the marina to the right of the development- not directly infront of us. We were told that a commercial area would be built also- a bit like Villa Martine - pretty and in keeping with the development. We were also told that a five star hotel would be built and I believe De Verre tendered for it. That could be why the land was being cleared? We were told to sel the development with all of the above.....and that is what I did and why I bought there myself. Trouble is I now know what Gomedio are like and couldn't tell you what is true and what is not- especially after the drama with the kitchens and bathrooms, which incidentally no one at La Recoletta seems to have any concerns about as their apartments have cupboards in both the kitchen and bathroom!

We still all need to press ahead with this legal case. We will win! And that means legal fees will be refunded!

They still advertise with this, and I also think it`s going to happen. Here is what the brouchure of Parque Recoleta says on Mediter.com website:

"Residents will be able to enjoy a pitch and putt area, marina, man made beaches and stunning communal pool and garden areas. Cameras, 24 hour on-site security and a fully installed alarm will ensure your peace of mind at all times."

The planned hotel is coming on the area just down and to the right of La Recoleta. There will be beaches close to restaurant Nautilus and at the hotel. The area to the rigth next to Punta Prima is planned for 1500 apartments (Alameda Del Mar) and the marina. I have also heard that there is going to be sportsfacilities there.

I don`t agree with sukhum. The kitchen dissapointed me, but so far Gomendio have made the promenade, great garden areas and a Pitch`n Put that even was not planned from the start. AND I am very pleased with my apartment at La Entrada.
