Hello everyone and it's nice to be here 

I am looking for some advice, I was looking to purchase here for an investment opportunity, 

is this a sound investment?

I would be trying for one 2 bed 2 bath and use of sofa beds where needed?

ive tried to follow pictures but they all seem to be a mix of varying properties, the 2 and 2 appears to have a wrap around   Balcony ? 
 

I will be selling my family home and my choices are to invest here , then I started looking at Marbella (dont ask lol) 

 

personally I'm not a golfer , but I would use the tranquility 

and travel into Murcia and Cartagena etc 

as investment opportunities go, I would obviously want to recoup the fees ASAP, would you see this as viable 

Id use more myself when investment had paid off 

I had been trying to work out costs and I came up with 699 per week, based on 6 sharing x 52 - is that viable ? 
I read that the potential is there to get good return, 

As golf goes, this is supposed to be a beautiful course , it would appear properties sell out availability quickly ? Is that correct ? 
 

in regards to costs 

99 Site Fee pcm

80 management fee pcm 
 

80 insurance pcm 

anything I forgot ?

p/s I work as a nurse I could do with break on tap, and a good sound investment

Hi these monthly fees you have quoted are they solely for running the property or are you talking for playing golf ?

First answer is these properties on this resort do not sell fast many have been for sale for many years . Some might sell faster if they are very good value, the banks  release a few at a time. And have done for years . Which properties are you looking at . New Bank properties, or second hand properties. Which part of the resort also are you looking at .

Don't buy a property in Spain for investment purposes ..I have owned a property in Spain for 16 year's and I  don't know of anyone that has sold and made a profit... Don't buy on a golf resort if you don't play golf... Don't buy a property on a mortgage relying on rental income to pay for it...if you intend to rent to holiday makers the only way to make it viable is to find your own renters / do your own cleaning and general maintenance of the property ..if you do it this way then you might make a few Euros you will obviously need to live nearby to do this..

you must have a Spanish tourism license and liabilities insurance in place you will also be required to pay taxes on the income /you will also need a good Spanish account to do your Tax returns...I sold a large villa with a large swimming pool last year and lost £35,000 after 15 years of ownership / 3 year's back I bought a bank repo on a gated community for a knock down price the people that had it reposed had the same Idea as you and it didn't work out as far as I know they lost €135,000 if making money was as easy as buying a property in Spain a throwing your keys to a estate agents and watching the money roll in wouldn't everyone be doing it Spanish estate agents a notorious for renting your property out and not telling you  ..so please take note of what I am saying.

I already decided that the now it wasn't for me anyway despite wanting to do it 

I think I found another reply you put to someone, sound advice , thanks 

I'm just putting it all into my property here to be debt free
