I've just returned from a visit to the development.  It is certainly looking better and many of the apartments look close to completion.  Blocks 19, 20 and 21 are unfortunately not nearly ready and will not be for quite some time.  In fact it was disappointing that in my particular apartment there had been no progress at all since my last visit there in March.  The white goods were all sitting in the lounge in exactly the same position as before.  The old showhouse is still there and there are a lot of diggers around as can be seen from the photographs.  It does beg the question why an occupation licence was issued when these apartments are not ready for occupation!  We had already booked a trip at the end of the month and if lucky we might be able to do some snagging then.  The only way into the development is through the security entrance which looks good.  The pool area at the entrance still needs a lot of work and the garden areas are not yet planted.  So if anyone is thinking of renting their property in the near future, then you may need to reconsider!

I've uploaded some recent photographs to let you see the progress .....  I have a few good contacts for furniture, if anyone is interested, just drop me an email.

Hi 'the Macs',

We are new to the eye on Spain site and have an apartment in block 20, a penthouse number 2-2. Which block are you in?  We haven't been out  to look since feb 06 so  your photos were welcome and we can really see how it is beginning to look, although according to all our info we thought they would be further on as we had been led to believe all apartments and surrounding areas had to be completely finished before the occupation licence was granted.   Looking at the photos it is quite obvious that everything is not complete and as you say will not be completed for a while.  We can't remember if this fact was stated in writing from Eralia as we are not prepared to pay until all is finished.  We intend to let and clients will be put off when building and gardens are still in progress. We would like to sell our apartment but we realise that all sales are very slow at this time and have been unable to find an agent to market our apartment. Anyway we will most probably be visiting in two weeks at half term and hope to find out lots more info then. Perhaps we will be able to do the snagging list if we can get into the apartment.  Please continue this thread if you have any info at all!

Lynn and Phil
