Hi all,

we are now back from a nice but short trip to Spain.

The new boundary wall at the apartment block is now enormous; it's about three times the height of a man and is well under way. Work seems to be concentrating on this at the moment and the site generally is quite a mess, as you might expect. It was quite breezy when we were there and dust from the building site was spiralling way up in to the air and on to our balconies - sweeping will be required!

Last weekend, there was no water supply at the higher floors and Graham, who lives on floor seven had to fill up containers with water from Karen's apartment on the ground floor! He had no water for the whole weekend!

It was pretty quiet in the block - we thought that Joe and Kathy, (apt 3B, HI, if your'e reading this), might be in as their living room shutter was up, but not the case. We are back out the first week in June if anyone is around then.

Thanks for the update Liz.  I'll give Karen a ring tomorrow about the shutter, she must have left it up when she went in to air the place.

We wont be over again until October so we expect loads of changes by then

Has anybody recieved a letter from Spain from Jose Manuel Moya Espasa Auditors?

They are currently auditing the financial state of travensa. Uh oh, have the builders dropped a boll***

Hi again,

Darren, we will definately pop in and say Hi. We arrive late on the 5th and go back tea time on the 9th. Just let us know when it will be convenient to knock. We will be staying in Almoradi again but flying in and out of Murcia this time.

I hadn't heard about the auditor thing, but then we haven't completed, so that's probably why. Bit worying though!

Hi all,

Yes Darren we got a letter from the auditor too, however, we have had one each year.  I assume it's part of the annual audit of Travensa, that they look at monies received & owed in view of their ongoing commitments. (former auditor speaking here).  I really don't think it is anything to worry about.

Hi there,

just to let you know that I have received a letter from the auditors after all. It asks me to confirm the balance of  MY money,  which Travensa holds.  It's a sharp reminder that they have had it since 2003 and it's not exactly peanuts!

PS. My car tells me that the temperature here today is 8 degrees. It's about 28 in Torrevieja  :-(
