Taxes for the self employed (residents)

Hi everyone, Has anyone ever got a discount passed on from Taray for a property that was puchased without dealing with an agent? I have had an interesting conversation with a Solicitor in Spain who believes this is possible!  Any feedback welcomed, hope to be there soon.

I would put money on it that you wont get any discount from taray i think they will offer you white goods etc.

if any agents found out that taray were giving discounts they wouldnt be very happy

 agents i think get about  10-15% discount from taray which is alot so your best bet if you want discount is an agent.

they will offer it as cash back towards furniture etc.

just out of interest what are you looking at buying inner or corner carpark or corner end?

I purchased without an agent and believe I got much better benefits than with one.  Taray will not give discounts but will barter with white goods and air con or whatever you can get.  However in view of there being no agents fee for the builder to pay,  your deposit will be much lower than the usual 20% to 30%. 

As I said I feel I have got a good deal by not using an agent, especialy knowing no third party is getting a big wedge for showing me something I could go and see on my own.
