Hudders I have done it in February and just last week with the transit loaded with furniture and stuff after we completed and have done the calais route both times.
The route takes you round the boulevard perephireque a little bit round paris if you have tom tom or other sta nav it helps a lot.
With the transit van the tolls and diesel cost 393 pounds one way without the cost of the crossing the michelin guide although good takes into account it is a car and not a van for most of the tolls it doesn't matter but for a couple the increase the price a bit.
It took me with stops 24 hours from dh2 to the channel tunnel if two of you driving then maybe knock ir down to 21 hours from tunnel to dh2
