IS ANYONE TAKING ON THE BUILDERS MORTGAGE ? AND IF SO DO YOU HAVE ALL  OF THE FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE DEAL ? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS FROM CAJA MURCIA ALL WEEK BUT CAN NOT SEEM TO GET ANYONE TO PUT ANYTHING IN WRITING FOR ME, IF ANYONE HAS ANY ADVICE ON THIS MORTGAGE OR HAS A GOOD CONTACT AT CAJAMURICA CAN YOU PLEASE SEND IT TO ME,

I've received some information from Caja Madrid for the builders mortgage (our apartment is in phase 1, not sure if different banks are supporting the different phases). I'm currently getting more details which I can let you know about when I get them. Details so far is a loan up to 85% of purchase price (this is higher than the original 70% I was told), no need for valuation and a fixed 4.50% for the first year then it follows the Euribor + 0.75% for the remaining 19 years. Opening fee 0.25% of loan captial. They claim other fees savings by going with the builders mortgage can amount to between 3000 - 5000 euros but I need this clarified.

Cajamadrid are doing phase1 and Cajamurcia are doing phase 2. I actually drove to the Cajamadrid branch in Cartegena (nearest branch is in Almeria city) but they were very vague on costs and when I returned home I emailed them asking for a breakdown of the costs. I had a reply saying the cost would be over 5000 euros (very detailed). As I have an account with Cajamurcia in Vera, I approached them and after showing them what Cajamadrid were offering they finally gave me an excellent deal which just about matched Cajamadrid on cost. From my point of view it is much more convenient to have my bank just down the road, especially when it comes to sorting out any problems etc.

OH !!!!!!! LANGUAGE TIMOTHY,    APART FROM THE WEATHER OVER THERE IN THE U.K.   DID YOU READ THE INFO ABOUT THE BEACH \PLAYA   ,,,, AT PLAYA QUITAPELLEJOS AND RIO ALMANZORA  AT LAS BRISAS...THEY HAVE BUILT A WEIGHBRIDGE ON THE PLAYA ,FENCED OFF TO STOP PEEPS WANDERING INTO THE WORKING SPACE... THIS IS DIFFERENT TO WHAT HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST  FEW YEARS,  WHERE WAGONS HAVE DUMPED SAND ON THE PLAYA IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAY PERIOD......BY THE WAY I WAS JUST WATCHING THE BBC NEWS AND SAW THE FLOODING ..............WE COULD DO WITH A SPOT OF RAIN FOR THE FLOWERS OF COURSE BUT I SUPPOSE WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER OR EVEN DECEMBER BEFORE WE SEE ANY AGAIN..............

WELL THINGS DID´NT WORK OUT AS I THOUGHT LAST NIGHT ,,YOU KNOW ,,A SWIM THEN A BBQ.

THE SWIM  WAS BRILLIANT, BUT INSTEAD OF A BBQ AT HOME........ WE HAD IT ON THE BEACH INSTEAD!!!  A LOT COOLER AND A DIP AS AND  WHEN YOU WANTED , THE SEA WAS STILL LOVLEY AND  WARM  AT 11.00pm
