Thread problems

We have just returned from an inspection visit on our now completed apartment. We were particularly keen to get out and have another look after reading the message from Rob titled 'Grim mirador.' We can report that the planting has made a huge difference but the pool has yet to be cleaned and filled.(12 days and this will be done says the charming Peter) The pool area is still a 'death trap' with holes in the ground and protruding objects like metal spikes so if anyone is thinking of renting out in the next few weeks I would suggest a serious risk assessment before proceeding! The apartment is looking good and a super bathroom mirror arrived and was duly fitted in record time although we were under the impression that we were not to get a mirror. The communal passage way and stores is extremely dusty and requires a good clean. The parking area is also in need of a good tidy up. we still do not have a remote for the main gate and this is open during working hours so I am extremely concerned about security and spoke to Peter about rails around our ground floor apartment bedroom windows. I would imagine that this security issue will concern most residents with a ground floor apartment. We lunched at the Aerodrome which was a great location and nice to know it is so close. We have our family holiday booked for  July 21st and looking forward to this. We are interested to know how many people will be  holidaying at the same time so let us know if you will be there.....I have this awful feeling we will be alone!

We have just returned from a short inspection trip, and are  due back out for a long weekend from the 5th july as we are having air con installed by a local firm and want to check it out. so unfortunately will not be able to meet you. We have friends who are using our apartment over the period you are on holiday. In general we are pleased with the apartment particularly the interior, I am hounding Peter daily on an update on the outside. Friends of ours who have purchased several properties in Spain have told us to be more patient, as Spanish time is different to Britsh, but it can be frustrating. We have stayed at the apartment and in the evenings the views towards the coast and Alicante are fabulous, I think in time the development will be a good investment. Look forward to meeting up at sometime in the future
