furniture stores

hello all

does anybody know where the furniture shops are that are reasonable  we know that there is an ikea on the way to murcia and that there are some stores in almoraldi  we found some rather expensive ones or is everyone shipping it over from england

We found an shop called Changing Rooms in La Zenia that seemed reasonable for beds and sofas and bedroom furniture and they will deliver to San Cayetano same or next day foc.

Also recommended store called Garcia Brothers in Torreveija but we never made it that far north on our last visit.

We did visit Ikea in Murcia and they will deliver for a cost.

We went last week to TorreHogar in Torrevieja, excellent choice over 5 floors, do complete packages or to your choice. They will supply, deliver and fit all your lights etc. and co-ordinate with you Parador rep.

Another store we looked at was DFS in San Javier, look at the website www.dfsspain.com, dont be folled this is not DFS as we know it, wes not impressed with the store.

On our last visit, our agents recommended Muebles N.G. in Torrevieja. They have a wide range over 2 floors and do complete packages, and were extremely helpful. Not sure how their prices compare. We will be revisiting them next week.

Their address is: Ctra. Crevillente, El Limonar II, Sector 17, Parcela R-6, 03180 Torrevieja. It's on the left as you approach Torrevieja from the south.

hello eveyone

we have been on a two week shopping expedition as well as to san cayetano a few times  i8 didnt think it was possible to see so much furnitre once we stared looking for mueble they were every where

we went to two stores with the rep from parador who said they only reccomend these two as they can have some say with regards to delivery etc

we went to torre hogar in  torrevieca loooked at the furniture packages and thought about one but on a second visit on our own looked at the furniture closer to find that the one we were interested in the wood was splitting and that was in the showroom so that put me off it wasnt the cheapest either we also went to mqm muebles near la zenia on a roundabout that was ok but then decided to go on our own

we went  to garcia bros near carrefour and parador head office  in torrevica that was a big store we bought some from their and will go back on our next visit we also went to dfs they were very helpful and we bought  storage beds from them if you are buying beds check the sizes as they are different than at home the ones in the penthouse show house are not 6ft 6ins long  they are shorter

their is a new shopping centre on the way in to cartegena with a  large carrefour 2 or 3 large electrical retailers  also toys are us and other stores well worth going to also a large d i y store
