Long term rental required Alicante

I UNDERSTAND FROM OLE INTERNATIONAL THAT THE POOL IS NOT GOING TO BE BUILT.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS ?

IF THIS IS THE CASE ALL OF THE APARTMENTS WILL BE WORTH A GOOD BIT LESS IN VALUE AND DIFFICULT TO SELL ON.

The swimming pool is complete and only needs cleaning, the tennis court has been started and the land levelled for landscaping.  Hopefully by next summer we can all meet there for drinks or a BBQ (or both).

I was speaking to Karen on the phone yesterday and she said work was progressing quite well.  People have started to move in block 10 & 11 is very nearly done.  It does still need painting on the outside.  Hopefully we'll be able to get mains water & electricity soon too.

I' really glad that things are moving along at last, after our long, and very tense wait.

Simon and I decided that we just could't wait any longer, (we bought in 2003!), and so earlier this year I hired a new lawyer and cancelled. Amazingly, we got the refund of money a couple of weeks ago! I still can't believe it!

We are now buying a resale villa about ten minutes away in Las Filipinas but we hope to keep in touch with all the smashing people we have got to know at Altos de Campoamor. You are welcome to come round for a drink anytime we are in Spain at the same time - and we hope you will.
