completion problems

Has anyone had final confirmation what is included in the purchase of apartments.  I was under the impression if was just basic furniture e.g. Beds, seatees, table and chairs. etc. We will be looking to purchase tv/dvd/stereo has anyone looked into the costs of these sort of things, and what the cost of licences etc would be.

Can't answer this for you yet. Hope to get answers soon as we are going out there to check details @ 22nd July. Hope to get some new pics as well. We do have a series of questions to ask but if anyone can think of further questions to ask we would be only too glad to check things out.

Have you been given any indication when you may be able to start using it or are you just renting it out?

We have always intended renting the property out. Long term would be ideal, but we have to find out the legal situation with the development before this can be done (one of the reasons why we are going out). We have been informed that the rental situation could be quite buoyant in the area but we shall just have to wait and see. I spoke to Ocean Estates today (over other matters as well). They seemed as informative as usual, telling me stuff I have been aware of for months, e mailing to the wrong address etc. No change there then! We have meetings planned with other contacts when we get out there, if anything constructive comes out of them we will let everyone know.

Just to advise you, when we went out in May Ocean said they would have someone on site to meet us, despite having confirmation the day before there was nobody there, in the end we were shown the site by the architech - who only spoke spanish and as ours is very poor we did no find any information out.

Yes indeed! We have also made arrangements to meet someone from Oceans. Suffice to say we will be there long enough to take up the issue if no one turns up. I'm pretty sure they will though, I'll explain all when we return. We have plenty of other meetings with other contacts when we are there. Again, I hope to keep everyone informed of any information we can supply when we get back.
