Had a quick look at SG from Google Earth, but it only shows the original lay out, no buildings . Obiviously not up to date yet! Camposol and Hacienda Golf show up well.

On Google Earth:
Don't want to be a bearer of bad news, but since this Google Earth thread has been started...
Did anyone notice that
if you (on the right hand side of the GE window) under "Layers",
if you click to show "Geographic Features",
that the SG terrain is sitting smack-on-top of what seems like a major earthquake risk zone (colored red)?
Should we be concerned with the area of our new homes? What do you all think?

We bought a house in Torrevieja (about 1/2 hr drive away) 10 years ago, and were told at the time it was an earthquake area. In the 10 years there has been one very minor rumble which caused no damage whatsoever (I was in a bar at the time and didn't even notice(!), but a neighbour said she felt her house shake), so I presume SG area is much the same.
Apparently the last major earthquake was 1829 so they don't seem to happen too often!! This message was last edited by llamacalmer on 7/17/2007.

HI ALL
forget GOOGLE EARTH i just got the most amazing view of sierra golf from the air we left san javier air port last night at seven oclock and the plane flew right over the top of SG could not believe my eyes the complete area was just like looking at the picture in the MASA brochure without the grass and many of the houses the complete layout of the roads and golf course are a lot more advanced than you would think from a normal site visit we where a bit disappointed on this visit as not much had been done since our last visit in may 07 except that they have started work on our pool but after seeing that view from the plane I went home a lot happier
