Hi there,
It's actually Caja Madrid. I don't mean to sound picky but it does mean they're a long way from Vera.
Their rates are very good though Caja Murcia themselves are pretty good too and they have a branch nearby that you can pop into. Cristina the manager there is really helpful.
Just a thought..
cheers

Phase I subrogation is with Caja Madrid. Good luck to anyone who tries to obtain information, it's a nightmare trying to get them to respond. I gave up in the end. Ironically, they finally contacted me this morning, 2 days prior to completion and the day b4 we fly to Spain to say its not too late?! We are now with Caja Murcia .. as hterag says, Cristina in the local branch is amazingly helpful and efficient, they are on your doorstep and they speak good English.

I completed 5 weeks ago on Phase 1. Cajamadrid were indeed a nightmare. I went with Cajamurcia as they are local, the manager Christine is very good and they did me a very good deal. Phase 2 is with Cajamurcia so anyone considering the builders mortgage should'nt have any problems.

I'm currently having fun (not) getting details of mortgage deals with all the relevant costs etc. Can anyone send me the general rates/costs that Caja Murcia offer please?
Thanks

Do you mean if you take on the builders mortgage or if you have your own personal one through Caja Murcia?
I've done the latter but I don't know if the costs are the same.

I've had some information with the builders mortgage (through caja madrid) and I've also independently (but the deal they claimed was no way the one the bank actually offered). I'm certainly interested in either the builders or otherwise. I'm looking for a decent contact that can get things moving with facts on costs etc.
Regards
Justin

Hi everyone
This is some info i received a whila ago if it helps, i am not sure which to take yey, any idea anyone
For a mortgage from 150.000 €and 25 years the monthly payment is 878.63€ .
The general conditions are:
Euribor + 0.75 %
Sete up fee 0.75%
For total payment in advance you should pay 1% but for total partial payment in advance you should pay 0.00%.
You have another expenses(notary), the total for that expenses could be more or less 3.450€.

THE CAJA MURCIA DEAL IS A GOOD DEAL AT EURIBOR + .75 % , BUT I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT AFTER ONE YEAR THE RATE GOES UP TO +1%, THIS IS STILL COMPETITIVE BUT IS NOT INFORMATION WHICH THEY TELL YOU UNLESS YOU ASK ! YOU ALSO HAVE TO TAKE OUT A LIFE INSURANCE POLICY WITH THEM, THIS IS ALSO SOMETHING THAT THEY DONT TELL YOU.
