We recently spent a month in the summer holidays at our apartment with our family and had a really nice holiday. We still had to chase up Miguel and Antonio to do some snagging but I think we have finally got all the jobs done. Whilst we were there we did investigate prices and it would seem that you can pick up apartments at CDS for as little as 200,00 euros! We also learnt a lot about the development and its problems and also looked into the CDS suites which are being built directly opposite our apartment and we had to put up with the noise and dust.
But what we heard from an estate agent in Sabinillas was that the CDS suites have been rebranded as a football academy. This is obviously worrying if you don't like football. It would seem that they have only sold about 40 of the suites out of about 500 and as a new marketing strategy they are aiming it to football clubs, and football fans with training facilities, football pitches and all that goes with football clubs and specifically a couple of well known English football clubs. Of course, this might only be a rumour but when we asked in the CDS office suites with Pablo who is the sales man of the suites he did not deny this but just said "they were looking at various marketing stragies".
Has anyone else heard this rumour? Perhaps our President could investigate this rumour.
It would also seem that the commercial centre, gym, restaurants, spa are all now part of the CDS suites development and will be sited on the old Interlaken office. The plans are in the CDS office. The main building is going to be 2 stories high with a tall tower at the front end and underground car parking. For the blocks directly opposite the old Interlaken office site this building will definitely block there already limited view.
Any feedback appreciated.
