Travel Insurance?

Has anyone any news on the communal arial. We are coming back out at the end of October and would like to install Sky. Is it worth waiting for the communal arial or getting our own mesh. Also has anybody got any recommendations on who to use and how much it costs approx.

Also we'd like to install an alarm so any info. on local companies/contacts etc. would be appreciated. Our neighbours across the road kindly gave us a number for a guy at one of the companies which we immediately lost  !!  Too much sun I think.

Finally we'd like to fit the shower cubicle in the downstairs bathroom. Has anyone gone with Taray's quote or have you found a cheaper way.

Hi Jim and Chris.  We had satellite tv put in by Teleast based in Los Alcazares.  Very quick, very clean and very reasonable at a one off payment of 590 euros and only 19 euros a month.  for this you get 32 tv channels including all sports channels (Setanta included) and 14 radio channels.  I have heard a figure of 400 - 500 euros for the Taray system but not convinced they will give the same channels as we have just now.  If you're interested Teleast's number is 00 34 628 767 366 or 00 34 647 520 780.  Can't help with security system but someone else on forum should be able to.  Ditto shower cubible - sorry.  Hope tv is helpful tho'.

Weve had community sat installed it cost 490 euros and 1 off payment 180 euros for years subscription.  It has 33 channels and 14 radio, this includes 2 movie channel, sky 1, bbc's, c4, c5 and sky sports.  It's alot easier and 100 euros cheaper than getting your own dish and causes less damage.  When they have installed took 5 minutes quick easy no mess rather than them drilling through your house and taking an hour + to install.  This was done by Micromeshtv - 650716767
