Hello, I would like to introduce myself – my name is Lynda Carter and I am the Aftersales Manager for Sunset Estates. In response to concerns about the electricity at Novo Arcos I would like to make the following statement:
The problem lies quite firmly with Sevillana, the electricity company. They are responsible for connecting the electricity to the development and it is entirely in their hands. The initial request for electricity to Novo Arcos was made in early August following the first completion.
Luis Mendez, one of the main acting solicitors, has informed Sunset Estates that the developers (Romanber) are in the process of denouncing Sevillana for not connecting electricity to those apartments and townhouses that have been completed.
This means that unless the electricity is connected very soon the developers will take the electricity company to court.
Luis Mendez, together with other solicitors representing our clients, Romanber and Sunset Estates are all working towards resolving this problem as quickly as possible.
Romanber have acted with good faith and have paid towards hotel expenses for a number of clients who have been inconvenienced. It is our intent to keep all of our clients informed about progress with Sevillana.
We expect a speedy conclusion to the current situation.
