murica or almeria airport hotel

Hi as we are flying in late with booked flights for the above airports could you let me know does anyone know if  there are airport hotels there please, as I am not getting them up on my system

Both Murcia & Almeria are very small airports & as far as I am aware there are no "airport" hotels.

If you check out www.Booking.com you can put, Almeria Airport & then the hotels that are close by are listed & the distance from the airport is indicated.

You can do the same for Murcia but use "San Javier" as that is where the airport actually is.

In my opinion, particularly from Almeria, I wouldn't bother with a hotel even if it is a late flight as the journey to Vera only takes 45 minutes.

We usually fly in to Almeria airport and pick up a car from there.  We used to stay at the Gran hotel which is 10-15 mins away from the airport, so it is very convenient.  But not as convenient as going straight to Al Andalus Thalassa.  This is their website:  http://www.granhotelalmeria.com/

Have a look, it is just by the ferry port, and very central for the shops.
