Well that will be fase 5 then!  When I bought there was no mention of this and no model of it in the Atlantia showroom.  There is nothing in the brochure/paperwork I had either.  So this sits in what was once the dip between phases one and two?  I presume this dip must be getting filled in with earth taken from from other ares of the site where foundations are dug?  What type of structures are going there? eg two story apartments...?  Villas...?

Hi again,

I spoke to Lyndsy at Atlantia and now know that phase 5 is between the Villas on Phase one and the lower part of phase two.  There are 96 one and two bedroom apartments in two story formation.  And yes, they are all sold.  Of course my obvious concern about all this was "have I lost some of my view?" as what we bought had 180 degree sea view one way and mountains the other.  She is going to get back to me on that........................

She also said that they were going to try and release phase one by easter, which is Apri 8th.

OK, a question for Paul,

Is it best to buy air conditioning from Atlantia direct for 2800 euros of buy elsewhere?  The airconditioning offered by Atlantia uses vents so there aren't units hanging off every wall.

I am a concerned and confused by this new Phase 5 plan. Did manage to have a look at the plan, thanks, but can't see anything to show me exactly how it fits in with Phases 1 & 2. I am very worried, as we are on Phase 2, with supposedly a grassy ravine to one side and what was a 180 view of the sea, which now appears to be marred by at least one stupid villa right in the middle. I've spent 3 years worrying about this view, now I'm worrying about where Phase 5 is..........is there a diagram that shows where it is in relation to the other phases somewhere?

Anyone want a nice apartment at the front of Phase 2 with an almost complete sea view!!??

Sorry I don't know the answer, we are on phase 1 (still waiting) also didn't know anything about a phase 5 !! Understand your concerns, seems that they keep coming up with new ideas and not getting on with what has already been started. Who knows when we will move in or how far behind your phase is, all getting to be very frustrating.

Hi Guys,

I have a plan of the whole thing (including phase 5) but it is an adobe file that I can't post on this site (I have tried...).  I may be able to attatch it  to an email if you give me your email adresses.  I have also approached Atlantia direct and asked for confirmation that this phase will not affect our view from phase one.  The reply was 'phase five is 8 metres lower than phase one.'  Which part of phase five this reply relates to is a mystery.  I asked again for them to be specific but, as yet, have received no reply.

I don't know if it is normal practice to 'fill in the gaps' on developments in this way, but I wish we had known about this when we were asked to part with our 30% so we had a complete picture on which to make a decision.  The sales brochure I have describes 'spacious green areas' and only four phases.

We went for the a/c package to save a lot of legwork, thought it would be easier and safer than employing an independent as we were initially going to do.

Might not be the cheapest (don't know) but as we are not there often saves searching for quotes and recomendations.

I agree with Mike, it is a lot easier to let the builder do the ac units.

I can probably get them at half the price but you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

My agent contacted me today and said that she expects our apartment on phase one, to be released at the start of May.  She also gave me a breakdown of associated fees (IVA, Stamp Duty, Registration Fees, Legal costs) of about 9000 euros which is a lot less than I expected.  Of course, only time will tell what they end up being...

She also said they have only had three days of rain so far this year.  Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I am really worried that your agent would lie about the weather. 3 days of rain this year is somewhat generous. We have been flooded out of our house and have not been able to return - one month ago today we had to leave. We have have 3 days of rain in the last 6 days!!!!

Really sorry to hear about your house being flooded, I hope you get straight soon.  I re-checked my email and Rosemarie definately described the weather this year as being 'kind' with only about three days rainy.  I think she may just be rubbing it in that you guys have a far better climate to enjoy than us over-taxed fools here.

We have booked flights for 29th March and will stay till the 8th April so will visit your office during our stay and introduce ourselves.

I have just returned from a trip to Mojon Hills (stopped in La Cumbre Hotel in Puerto de Mazarron, see other topic message board for a review I've just left)

I have purchased in phase 3, but I have just placed general pictures of phase 2 under the mojon shared photos. Most are under 12th March but there are a couple of good ones of the whole of phase 2 under 10th March.

Progress looks to be moving well there were builders on site working thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday!

Thanks for the photo's.  I'm guessing, but is the photo that has the impressive blue earth moving machine in it, taken where phase five will be?

Glad you had a good time and to hear that the builders are working hard to complete our homes.

Nikki and I are going out in a couple of weeks and will post lots of picures when we get back.

Yes the bright blue machine is near the where phase 5 will be, I went to see the spot where phase 5 is currently planned, it will be built on a slope, with the highest part of 5 around the same height of the tallest units on phase 2.

However, the agent that showed me around said that all phase 5 units may have sold too quickly and it may not go ahead in its current planned form!?

I went to the top of a couple of tall phase 2 units and there is no doubt in my mind that phase 5 will block your view to the side! If nothing else it will make you feel more enclosed.

I'm just being realistic.

Oh well, I suppose this is all just part of the learning curve.  The planning system in Spain is certainly different to ours and it looks like the mystery of phase five will run and run.  As probably will the hotel and shops...  I have never seen phase five offered for sale anywhere, and I have been looking for anything for sale on Mojon Hills since we put our first deposit down.  Has the whole phase been sold  to a holiday company or something?

As I remember, the tallest part of phase two doesn't affect us so we may be ok on phase one.  Lynsay in the sales office said that ground level for phase five is eight metres lower than the ground level of our block so we'll be ok.  However, when she told us that, phase five was only going to consist of two story structures.  We have the plan she sent which probably won't correspond to what will eventually materialise if you are right.

As I say, we are going out soon so will try and get something more definate from them.
