Hello, it's me again. I suppose like a good few others, I have been following these messages and it's interesting how  one negative opinion silences the responses. We can all get irriritated as a result of the delays, and understandably voice our irritation on this site, and whilst there's nothing wrong with that, I for one am still extremley excitied about this developement and getting into my place in the sun. Does anyone actually doubt that this thing will happen? I can't see it not being built, not now, however, I completely accept the frustrations of those who have been told story after story but isn't that the "continental way". I put my deposit down 18 months ago, and took what they told me in terms of timescales with a dirty great pinch of salt. When this place is built we'll have other things to compain about, this isn't right, that's not done properly, the list could be endless, but let's not forget the fact that we're buying our places first and foremost for FUN and it will be worth it in the end.  Keep the Faith!

and thats exactly what we have all been doing for along time now.  I  must admit that once we recieved the great news in July, i thought that it was gooing to get going, but no still no licence to start building. evan imgetting depressed and im normally the optimistic one.  If anyone hears anything, please let us know im frightened to come on here mow in case it all goes belly up .ohh please do n ot be cross with be but im fed up.  Anyway may I wish you all a merry xmas and lets hope that this time next year some of us will have that place in the sun!!!!!

We haven't yet commited ourselves to buying a property on Royal Dream.  We have had two property companies offering us plots, one looks very interesting as its on phase 2 so WHEN work starts we might not have to wait years.  I don't know if I could have waited as long as some of you have, even if work starts after the 8th January when the last license arrives it could  be ages before some positive results are seen but if enough labour is bought in things could also happen very quickly.

We have a tentative  appointment with the developer on the 20th January. As we have not seen where the development actually is we are looking at it first. We shall know if everything has the go ahead as we would not agree to anything until satisfied all in place, (a visit to the town hall might be needed) so we will keep you all posted.

If we are able to get on the internet where we are staying and not have to depend on an internet cafe we will also take pictures.

We have looked at other new build developments that have been sent to us on this forum, they all seem to have had the same problems!!  So 'keep the faith'

I have just had an email from my agent (who is very good) and apparently the final notice was due to be given last Friday but a councillor went on holiday to the Caribbean so final licence has been postponed until mid January. He is in contact with TH twice a week and he confirms that they have secured a larger workforce and they still hope to hand PHASE 1 over end 08 - 09 but until building work starts its hard to confirm this. He also says that sales at the resort are still buoyant,  so thats good news for everyone??

Just wondering is it my computer or has the web cam been frozen for over 3 weeks,also  someone wrote that the road on the single side of villas has changed can you give a bit more imformatoin on this as I think it affects us,not a real problem I dont see but I had some ideas for the garden and parking which I'll need to re think. Looking forward to lots of replies as always.
