"You raise me up"!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish!!!!
I know this may be something that really doesn't bother some of you, but, yet again, I have spent over two hours trapped in the lift!
This is the second time it has happened, and I am not a happy little chappie any longer!
KeyMare have a responsibility to those of us who need access to our floors via the lift. They have a duty to ensure that, should the lift be faulty, we can be assured of a swift response should the need arise. Yet again, having repeated the previous nightmare, I am becoming more and more disallusioned with the reaction of certain KeyMare employees to my plight!
Being trapped in the lift is no fun experience. If I wasn't claustrophobic before, I certainly am becoming apprehensive regarding being in confined spaces.
If something is not done soon, then, I am afraid, someone is going to become traumatised. Nobody responds to the alarm, either from the call centre or the gate-keeper. What the hell is happening? What will it take before something pro-active is done?
I am eagerly awaiting the engineer to turn up tomorrow. Again, if I had not got my mobile phone with me and therefore was able to alert others to my plight, I would still be sitting in a very cold lift having become trapped at approx: 12.30pm Saturday afternoon. Will KeyMare only react, if, should the need arise, my parents have to employ someone to cut me free from the lift by using an oxyacetalene torch on the doors? I wonder who would have to foot the bill should this need arise?
I would advise ANYONE attempting to use the lifts, make sure that you have a full-charged mobile phone on you, and are wearing warm clothing, oh, and one more thing, ensure you have been to the toilet before entering at your peril!
HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL FROM PETER & LORRAINE BRAID.
P.S I won't be sending Christmas cards, as the money will come in handy when I purchase a portable loo for the lift in Bloque 12!
