Something to keep in mind....

I will be visiting Porto Fino on 17th Jan to check progress and will get pictures etc posted on my return, by all means ask for any requests - I will try my best to help.

Had to join the MRI membership today just to get anything done but could be useful just for this year and then cancel fro next year. Going to get NIE number sorted whilst there and have tried to get Spanish mortgage sorted with Capital ( recomended by MRI ) only to be told I have to be a Capital Partners Member ( another joining fee )

This has got my back up a bit really because all these fee's and charges were never mentioned before. Does anyone have any advice regarding getting a good spanish mortgage without being ripped off by middlemen.

Hi all

I have just come back from sunny Almerimar .Porto fino is looking great. I have just paid my deposit to DBJ for all my furniture. Go in and see the girl in the office and she will take you to see some furnished apartments .Their show apartments are very impressive. They also helped me sort out my mortgage with a local bank .I said I would mention this to you all. So far I am very pleased and confident as they come highly recommended from a few locals I met. I also went into Proindal and they said they were a very good company. DBJ also sent me up to date info about Porto fino as they get this direct from the Proindal office.
