After viewing all the photos on the web of the show apartments it looks from what I can gather a bit of an eye sore and a waste of the space in the 2 bed apartment under the outside stairs leading to the solarium.  We where wandering of the idea of making it into a cupboard or/and drawer area with the possibility of using wood similar to that in the kitchen. Has anyone else thought of this and if so do you know if it is ok to do this with Polaris(assuming inside alterations should not be a problem)?  Also how easy do you think it would be to find similar type of wood and indeed to find someone to do this type of job in that area?  Any thoughts and advice would be really appreciated.

I've just been looking at the photo's again of the space under the stairs, Yes I think it would be a good idea to make this into a cupboard of some sort, looking at the size I think it would be better 2 divide the cupboard door into 2 sections. I've just been looking on viva-murcia.com and there is a few joiners in the area.  I will wait until we are moved in and then contact a joiner about this a get some shelfs made up for the wardrobes at the same time. I think it would be easy to get wood to match the kitchen units from any kitchen supplier or the many big department stores we past when was there (Cartegena, Dos Mares ,Murcia)

Either that or paint the same colour as the walls. Its small but not as small as you might think and you might just get an ironing board and bucket and mop under there, or even golf clubs. It could be around 3ft deep. When viewing we thought it was less of a problem than it appears in the photo's  - even shelving would give it some character. But it would be a good lockable space for personal items if you plan to rent.

Hi there

I am currently having quotes put together for several clients who have requested that a cupboard is built for the storage area under the stairs in the 2 bed properties. We are also waiting for quotes for a weather proof cupboard to be built under the stairs on the front patio for the 3 bedroom properties.

As soon as I have the price for supply and fitting I will let everyone know and if they are interested they can get back to me.

Hi Phil
You can buy self assenbly all weather boxes from D I Y stores. A lot of our club members use them for storing their boat gear. They can be locked up.
I will ask one of our members for details. We will be in Sale Sun/Mon so if you want come and have a glass of wine(no food cos it gives you a hangover)!!!!!
