Buying repossessed property property in Costa Blanca and payment of deposit. Advice?

HI,

We are in the process of furnishing our apartment at HR and are interested to know who has completed furnishing their apartment(s) and which furnishing companies you used.

Also, is there anyone who has recently visited or is likely to visit IKEA in Murcia as I would love to get hold of their catalogue. If anyone is willing to send a copy to me I would greatly appreciate it, of course I will reimburse the cost of postage.

We have recently arrived back from our signing, and furniture adventure. I would recommend you visit DFS in San Javier.
Well worth a visit. They were more than helpful, and good with suggestions. Nothing was too much trouble, and they can help you with the lighting as well.
They are English, so no barrier regarding speech.

We ordered our furniture for 1 of our apartments from Murcia furniture. They have a lot of packages which vary in price but the quality is pretty good. It is a good way of doing it if you want the convenience of them putting everything in for your arrival. However, we were surprised to find out that our furniture has already been installed without our knowledge! They were supposed to wait for us to contact them once the Utilities were on so that they could do a proper clean before everything went in. We only found out because I emailed them to ask if the furniture was in the Warehouse! Luckily, we have someone out there who was able to check everything was ok, which it was. Apparently with some companies you can be waiting for ages to get the stuff delivered.

We used Inside Right Espana for our main furniture, who are on the Poligono Industrial Estate & we can't speak highly enough of them. (See my previous posting when I elaborate more). Their furnshings are good quality & competitively priced & lots of choice in their showroom. They are all really helpful, but we dealt mainly with Gareth, who was brilliant.

We bought our white goods & TV etc from ElectroRegalos in Roldan & they were also excellent.
