Sofa available to take away

Hi All

We completed on our apartment (Phase 3 Laurel1) on the 24th January & we are still waiting for our electricity to be conencted, which is now beginning to cause us big problems, as we have flights booked to stay shortly & there is lots to be done before we are in a position to stay!

I am chasing Polaris & the Electricity Co daily, but feel I am being fobbed off by not knowing the system. The electricity co says nobody has applied for the meter yet  that they still do not have a contract & Polaris say this is fine because the Contract is in Madrid! The electricity Co says I can arrange this myself, but I need 2 documents to do so, a wiring document & a copy of the licence from the Town Hall, which I don't have & not sure how i would obtain these.

Is there anyone in our block that has had their electricity connected & if so, please could you tell us when you completed & how long it took to install your electricity, as I am beginning to worry now!! Thanks Guys

We completed on our 2 apartments in January. One is Java 1 and the other is Cilantro 6. We have got gas to one of them but that's about it! We have complained to Polaris constantly about this and they say it is out of their hands. However, my husband rang them today and they said it could be arranged that we have electricity connection from the Builders for the time being as our furniture has gone in to one of the apartments. Apparently, we also have Builders water supply.
We think it is terrible that Polaris pushed us to complete and yet we can't use or rent out because of the Utilities. I think you just have to keep calling or emailing them to put them under pressure.
Hope you get sorted soon anyway. Please let us know.

we completed January 25th Mejorana phase 5. I called this week and Polaris said all is connected. I guess it may be luck of the draw, though i think we may still have to use builders water for the next few weeks as a friend went out recently and this was the case. I hope you get it sorted.

We have just come back from HR.Had a lovely time,weather good.

We have electric ( only after many phone calls) and water. NO GAS. and We completed on 08/01/08. All the apartments in our block have had the pipe work /meters fitted/cage around pipes/meter, so it is just a case of connection. However the 3 aparments at the end of the block, including ours, none of this has been done!!! We have been told of many reasons and not sure which one is true. We were out there for 8 days, had discussions with the callcenter girls at HR and also went to the main call center by the main offices ,but still no connection. On our last day (01/04),we popped into the call center again and were told it was happening that day. However when we left at 7.30 pm ,there had been no sightings of a gas man or a meter fitted.

Goodness knows when it will happen.Its a bit of a lottery!!!

It is a bit of a lottery but having completed on 12 Dec we finally got all of our utilities connected on 18 March just in time for us to stay for the first time over the Easter period. Fingers crossed all is well with our apatrment now snagging signed off and utilities connected. The only advice I can give is keep on to the cal lcentre but try to build a good relationship with the girls as they are very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and it looks as if it wil lbe many of the things we had hoped. However, it was very spooky at night as we felt like te only people on earth during thenights we didn't see a soul or very many lights on. I'm sure things wil lbe on the up soon ans we look forward tro meeting with peopel next time we are out.
