Is campasol golf walkable from the Jardines?

Does anyone know if the Campasol golf development is within walking distance of the Jardines, and if you're allowed to us the shops, restaurants etc there as a non-resident?

We're currently on stand-by for our handing over dates ("early summer" according to the Polaris rep who rang a couple of weeks ago) and I wondering what facilities will be available locally if, - as I've read on some of the Condado and Jardines threads  - the Polaris town centre facilities aren't likely to be up and running by then.

I remember from the inspection visit that the Camposol development was pretty close, and I'm guessing it might be handy in the short term?

Hi Russ , I have just checked the distance from where we think the Jardines will be built and Campasol and as the crow fly's it is about 3 miles, by MOTORWAY. I dont think there is a direct footpath or cycle path yet, but it would be only 5 minutes in a car,

Camposol is a about 3 or 4 miles down the road, as Ken said it is only a few minutes by car.  As to the shops, all of the shops and restraunts are open to the general public.  On the right hand side as you go by is a supermarket and a decent sized diy store.  There are more smaller shops as well.  There is also, adlacent to the diy store, a small complex  of shops restraunts and banks.  Again in this complex there is a bowling alley, a Chinese, Thia, Itailian, Irish and English style restraunts and bars.  On the left hand side as you go by, and up the hill slightly, you have more shops and restraunts, diy/nick-nack shop (only why of describing it) and a wine merchants. 

The golf course is approx 1/2 mile or so away.

We are also on the Jardines, I spoke to a lady at Polaris yesterday, and she said that our little town centre wil not be finished untill very early 2009.

When we go to Condado on visits we usually have lunch at Camposol Golf Clubhouse, although probably the closest urbanisation I would not like to walk it, my guess would be probably no less than 45 mins. You can however use facilities there as there are no security measures in place.

Last time at Condado (March 08) I was informed that there would be a temporary Supermarket, Pub and Restaurant ready for first occupants.
