Hi all!

         Has anyone out there had to pay golf  insurance we were asked to pay 3 euro each. Is there anyway round this can we join the Spanish PGA ? as it would appear that the Spanish nationals don't have to pay. I know that it's not much but feel that as we have taken out golf rights that this is another charge that we unaware of.

When you  join the spanish federation you dont have to pay the €3 each per game - you do an assessment with one of the pros and he/she signs you off - you do pay a fee for this, can't remember what it is.  It does'nt have to be paid on all spanish courses - just the Murcia ones that i know of.  We often play other courses eg La Finca etc and the fee is not applied.  But the other courses are much stricter about handicap certs, thought i think Roda are starting to tighten up.
