Hi everyone.
We completed end Feb 08.
Just accessed spanish a/c. There were two payments amounting to €600 to Cdad prop urb El Hacho. Is this to the El hacho and not AEA? Is this a yearly fee. We did not even authorise it.
What does Endesa mean?
Thanks.

Hi All
Having just completed myself at the begining of march, Could somebody give me any idea of how much per month the electrics are, as the last post suggest that 600 euro's is a hell of alot of money to pay out. surly that cant be a connection fee can it?
I will also need to check my with my bank.
Thanks
Phil

My guess is the large part of the 6ooEuros taken out is the community fee for this quarter. It was due at the beginning of April and On my bank statements it also says El Hacho but is then followed by something like Urbanisation of Duquesa............... So its actually the community fees

Fionnuala, I think Lynn is probably right, in that this will most likely be your community fees. As you have already paid the sinking fund fee of €300 (noted from another post), this will probably be the second quarter's fees (April-June inc.) and the apportionment of the first quarter's (from the date you completed until end March). Be sure that they have, in fact, apportioned the fees for the first quarter as they did not do so for us and we had to point this out to them (we completed beginning of February last year).

Hi,
Thanks Lynn and Ian for your help. I was thrown a bit, as I had only just made contact with AEA requesting DD forms to be set up with bank. I had not yet completed these and then I saw bank statement. Can they organise direct debits by themselves? I wanted to make sure as I didn't want to send off these forms and have a 2nd DD coming out.
Thanks again, as now the figures do make sense.
Looking forward to spending most of the Summer at DV!
Regards
Fionnuala, Derek

Hi
Think those DD's will have been authorised by your lawyer. What I have found useful in Spain is the availabilty to instruct your bank to recover the DD money within a certain period if you do not agree with what has been done. I have had to exercise this feature a number of times with AEA when their accounts department decide to dip into my account.
