Spain court jurisdiction

Hi all

I'm going out to HR on my first visit in July. I'm a bit nervous about driving. I looked at getting a car from Polaris World car rental as they collect you from the airport which would make things easier but they are so expensive compared to other car hire firms.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the bus services are like there

Also, is there any transport that would take me out to the furniture places? other than taxis - and how expensive are taxis there?

Any advice anyone has would be so helpful

Hi,

For all our care hire in spain, we have used an internet site www.doyouspain.com. They find the cheapest rate from a large number of companies. They have always undercut going direct to the individual companies themselves. Also you pay nothing until collection of the car . Give them a go,we have used them for years and never had any problems.

Don't be too concerned about driving in Spain.  On the whole, its no better and no worse than driving in the UK.

Also if you haven't driven a LHD car before, all the controls are as per UK its just that you sit on the other side and the gear lever is on the right.

Bus services from HR are very sparse and Sucina's not much better, plus you've got to get there.  Having your own transport will make you much more independant and I can echo Pauls comments about DoYouSpain.
