Hi all,

Just wanted ask if anyone has bought beds for their apartment yet?

Our apartment is in the middle of the block and after measuring the 2nd bedroom it seems that 2 standard singles (90x180) are going to be a bit of a squeeze, making the room look smaller than it is.
So, we are thinking of opting for 2 smaller singles (80x90) - has anyone else decided to go for that?
I am quite reluctant to go for the smaller singles but it seems I have no real choice.

Has anyone managed to secure storage beds of a decent quality (pocket sprung) for a reasonable price? I still don't understand why it's so much more expensive out in Spain compared to the UK.

We bought out bedroom furniture from DFS and got a good discount. 

Paul believes in offering good service so you go back for more - and we did! .

As for prices v UK, apparently Spanish mattresses are 'double sided according to the season.  They have a winter and summer side!  Ask next time you are in a showroom.

I went for 2 90cm beds in one room with no bedsite cabinet as this room has a shelf for lamps etc. These are storage beds bought from DFS. In the other room, I bought 2 80cm beds and a skinny cabinet togo in between the beds so the room doesn't look too cramped. I'm over next week and will see if the plan works! The 80cm beds are on legs so that cases and clubs can be stored underneath. Again from DFS.
