No new contracts have been issued. Prior to completing on March 14th, we were assured by our lawyers (Lawyers of Spain) that this had not been necessary.
We're very happy with our purchase, despite the long wait (we paid our deposit in October 2004). There was little to do as regards snagging, and what there was was put right in a couple of hours one afternoon.
We were on both builder's water and electricity initially and have experienced a few cuts to our supply. Two days ago we went on to metred water. Anyone due to complete should ensure that their lawyer has set up the necessary contracts with the water company. We've been told by our lawyers that metred electricity will take a little longer.
After several weeks we now have a cleaner looking after the communal areas and the garage is machine cleaned a couple of times a week. Gardeners have been in and cleared and tidied the garden areas and the first pool between Phase 4 Blocks 1&2 is due to open this Friday the 16th. There are no rubbish collection or postal deliveries yet and we're still waiting for the promised TV, although to be fair those in Blocks 1&2 have received theirs, and Block 3 is next.
Despite all the frustrations that we've had along the way,and the fact that we've had to find our own solutions to many of the problems that we've experienced, we're glad that we stuck it out. We've learned a lot and made a number of friends as a result.
