Hiya
Which one do you mean? The ones we know all were open when we were there last week, including a new one opened on the front at Garrucha just down from the bike shop at the Mercadona end (although didn't eat here) so can't make any recommendation on it.

we ate there (original site) when we were out in March and were disappointed. The steaks weren't as nice as those we had in December. Not sure if they have changed their chef?

I always thought La Cabana and the Mexican restaurant over the road were owned by the same people? If that was so, surely it makes no sense for them to move one of them from one end of the playa to the other? Mind you though, both restaurants are a fair walk on a full and satisfied stomach (not so bad if you are driving). Maybe they are trying to catch customers from each end?
