Telefonica 6MB - how to get it?

Anyone on 3MB can probably get 6MB

All you have to do is ring Telefonica and threaten to leave.

They will initially say it's not available in your area but then agree to switch you onto the 6MB service if you stay and also offer a much reduced monthly bill etc.

I saw a report last month which said there were losing market share.

The change normally takes place overnight and then you have 6mb

On www.speedtest.net I am now getting download 5.1mbps and upload 0.51mbps

 Last time I used the speedtester, I was on 10mb!! May end up staying with them as having no luck whatsoever with Vodafone taking over the line

We recently contacted Telefónica to ask for a reduction in the monthly cost of our 6MB adsl or we were considering changing and we got it reduced by €15 per month!  All adds up!!

Ditto, plus free calls to landlines and free weekend calls to all mobiles. Ask, and ye shall receive!

We moved 2 years ago, it took 9 months to get a landline connected & 22 months to obtain a physical bill. We were being charged 40.99 a month for internet only!!

I called movistar on 1004 & they told me someone from "promotions" would call me in the next 10 days. One month later I called 1004 again & told them I was going to leave, they immediately offered 6MB for 25.99 including free national calls.
