Number of Spanish Millionaires is going to double

This news is to be expected.
All those involved in the gigantic Spanish fiddle that were not arrested, have now had sufficient time to have their illgotten gains thoroughly laundered.
There is no doubt a few dedicated, hardworking entrepeneurs that have made the grade too. Well done to them.
Cheers

In economic downfalls, there are always people who benefit from people who suffer. On BBC the othe night they said the London property market continues to boom. The spoke with an agent who was selling a smart 2 bedroon apartment, nice but nothing really special, you would never have guessed the asking price, 2.7 million. Totally ridiculos. The interviewer then asked who is buying all these properties with such high values?? Russians? Arabs? Brazilian's? NO, Spainsh, Irish and other wealthy Europeans. Why?? The want to get their money out of the EURO and into STERLING. I say no more.

It is said part of the Spanish property boom was wealthy Spaniards trying to get rid of their under the bed pesetas before the introduction of the euro.

Those who had money before the crash and have managed to hold on to it are reaping the benefits now in long term investments and cheap investment opportunities. Doesn't surprise me at all that the number of millionaires will double.
