Parking in the Port of Cartagena.. what a nice surprise ?

On a recent visit to the City of Cartagena to see the Cunard ship " Queen Victoria in Port we drove to the city via Mazarron and followed the signs to the centre. On arrival on a lovely tree lined street just at the port signs for "underground parking" down a ramp on Port side. Nice and easy to get to and right in the heart of the city. Ticket at machine .... this will be expensive we thought........ . had a beer in the lovely traffic free area lined with bars and shops ... This will be expensive I thought .. NO .. it was only 4 euros for one and haft pints Carlsberg . and the Parking Just 3 euro 50 for over three hours . Great to see a lovely Spanish city full of places to see that dosnt try to rip off tourists and visitors .. Thanks Cartagena...... Will be back
