Charity shop opening hours

Hi all
The animal charity that I'm a member of has just opened a new charity shop. We have plenty of voluteers and had decided to open some afternoons as well as mornings. But someone has told us that charity shops can only open for a maximum of four hours a day. Surely this can't be a Spanish law? (or can it?). Has anyone ever come across a regulatin like this?
