Dog Friendly Beach Fuengirola

Hi,

Am brining the dogs over for a month when we come mid-September and wondered if there are any dog friendly beaches near Fuengirola? I know there used to be one by Sohail Castillo (at the end of Fuengirola) but am getting conflicting reports re this is now not allowing dogs? Also do they need to be muzzled. They're mongrels and both under 25kg and not aggressive towards other dogs or people - just dont fancy getting a fine. Also, do they need to be muzzled when travelling in the car? Will be driving over from the UK. If anyone has any recommendations for dog friendly hotels on the way down from Calais would be appreciated - have looked at booking.com for pet friendlies, but if someone has had a good experience would like to hear about it. Also, I know all dogs are different, but how long did you drive for before you took a break and how long did you drive most days. One dog is fine in the car and the other is a little nervous - so may need to give her some rescue remedy to make sure she's ok for the long journey.
