I think it's a happy story but a bit weird.
Please don't fall asleep with boredom.
On our last trip to Spain we had some problems with the builder who is doing our reform.
We told our agent who spoke to the builder for us. The stupid chap had locked our house up and taken the keys with him so we had no access.
The agent rang to tell us he had got hold of the builder who would drop the keys in to the agent's office in Almoradi at 7pm so could we meet him there.
He had to take a client back to a house she was buying to show her friend and then bring the client back to the office to sign up for the house at around 6.30.
We agreed to be there at around 6.30 - 7pm ..
On arrival at the agent's we had to wait for the agent to appear first. On his arrival, we started chatting about the house he was just selling in Daya Nueva.
The door opened and we looked around expecting to see the builder with keys.
The agent nearly died of shock when the client and I took one look at each other, had a huge hug and gabbled like idiots.
It was my cousin who I hadn't seen for about 5 years and had lost touch with. She had lived in Spain for 3 years and only 4 miles from our Dolores house for the past year. Her new house is about a mile or so from ours.
We had heard that she might have been moving to Spain a few years ago but had no idea what part of Spain she was even interested in.
What a small small world.
To walk into the same office at the same time on the same day... who would have believed it?
BTW the builder didn't turn up.
