I think that the vein of threads here probably just about say it all MOre - your input is much valued by ALL of us at EOS - I think you will be sorely missed so dont be a complete stranger - although I am sure that now Chris has more free time he will keep you a bit busier than before and you can both enjoy his retirement.
With very very best wishes to you both - if you do make your way down to the CDS please let us know and we would be delighted to put names to faces

Thanks for all the advice you gave us - 8 more days and we'll have moved out there! After today's weather in the UK we have no regrets at all! Hopefully you will pop into EOS from time to time with words of wisdom!

I knew I was well liked on forum (in the main anyway  ) but I've had such wonderful responses on this thread, on my 3000posts thread too. I've had endless PMs & emails. I chat with many members on messenger & I know I won't lose my new friends. We always see many members in Spain, it's great fun.
I wish you well in your new life Amanda & I thank you very much for your posting.

Hi Val, I'll have to leave it to Karen to contact you, it's ok with my OH & I , anytime. Once in Spain we stay incommunicado. But meets are often just a cuppa but no reason why you can't be included. Karen, over to you, mate.  Work for those Thornton's coffee creams. Easter bunny will be in Thornton's shop on Friday.

I'm going to treat you to a couple of bags for Easter as a thank you for having us round to yours for such a wonderful meal on New Years Day. You would've had then at New year but Em had them in her case.  If you want more you will fork out as we're not going to be held accountable for any weight gain.

What a day I've had. First that Kathleenbaby's attack on our forum. She took over 17 threads at the last count. Basically, as I've seen similar in a PM sent to myself & most of my mates in Friends Reunited Connections last year, she was asking for "new friends" to email her. It was found out (in FRC) that she was wanting people to give her details of their bank a/c so she could share her "good fortunes" with them in return for getting money to a UK bank rather than her country's bank. All a scam of course.
Then, I had back ache & took paracetamols as I needed to iron a few bits. After ironing I went on my vibrating mat with a heat section at lower back area for 30 mins. However, after a while I couldn't stand straight. Muscles in my lower back had gone into spasm & I was in agony. Got into docs surgery for last appointment 6pm. Doc said it wasn't a disc as I could bend forward. Acute muscle spasm he said it was & gave me 100 anti inflams which I have to take one at a time 3 x daily & with paracetamols too if required. I had the same problem last September in Spain so looks like my back has a weakness. Could do without this with needing to sort packing out for leaving Monday, hair cut will need to be cancelled for tomorrow now as I won't be able to go. Still, I should feel heaps better by weekend with luck. I recall my back went as I was doing last minute packing to go to Turkey a few years ago. I had anti inflams handy from previous time so could take them but the plane trip was excrutiating. (Went following day).
Anyway missed "fun" later on forum. Trying to get an early night as I doubt I'll sleep well.
