Well, lots of cards, some unexpected too, this morning for Chris. We had a cuppa in bed together before he put on smart dark trousers & a shirt !! Now, for around a year, he & his workmates have worn jeans & a white poloshirt with the GKN logo on to work. He works in a large office with 80+ staff & last week a mail went round telling everyone that they have to wear trousers not jeans or be sent home to change, mainly as potential clients are taken into the office & GKN have decided it doesn't look good. Of course no one took a blind bit of notice. However today Chris is going to have a "go" at his section which he's over & tell them he expects jeans to be left off, well you get my drift.  It's just his daft way of saying he's not under the company's rule after midday but they still are. Gosh, he looked smart. He's picked up 80 doughnuts, as I said, from Asda this morning for their break as he doesn't want to go to the pub. He'll be home soon.

My back's still a megga problem to me. If I sit here without standing up & walking about as best as I can, it seizes. The muscles around my hips & down the left side are in spasm. I've put magnets on as these help ease the tension. I've been plastered in Arnica gel as that's meant to be good too. Doc prescribed anti inflamms & said to take paracetamol too. Our concern is that I can't get on the plane on Monday afternoon & we need to rebook. Anyway, we're not thinking too much about that, we have a few days before we leave though lots to do before heading to Spain for 25 days.

So that's pretty much it. Anyone without my email address can get me through the PM so don't forget. I shall miss you.

Nice to hear from you, glad you're being well looked after, can you receommend retirement?. How's your back? Hopefully the warm weather is helping it, trust me you ain't missing much here, snow at the weekend and now torrential rain! Still, less than 7 weeks and we'll be there too!

Coffee sounds a good idea, I'm off to put the kettle on and have a quiet 5 minutes while the puppies are sleeping.
