I have just bought my third off plan property in Spain
Two are investments and the one I bought off plan in Feb 2007 was released late Jan and ready circa Mid 2009-best deal I have seen for a long time
Last week I bought my winter home 25 mins inland very close to a prosperous Spanish Market Town - 4 beds 3 baths 400 sq m plot with room for a nice pool - not a large Villa but very nice- ready circa 15 mths and the Spanish buy here-cost 217.000 € inc IVA
But I am selective and they are all in Almeria-the east end and best part
Costa del Sol has it problems but that is not 'all of Spain'

Thanks mate - praise from you is praise indeed - I know that you are very knowledgeable yourself so to receive a comment like that means a great deal. By the way did you have any joy with Gerry? Have made a comment about the other one under Marbella Belles but there were a few treacles on there that are "known" to us - no names no pack drill - other than the broad who doesnt like Dog Kebab I thought it was quite tame by comparison with last weeks bombshell introduction.

I thought the poor Filipina being "interviewed" had more class than the lot of them - and was far better looking too. And so what if they eat dogs? At least they'd know how to cook them, which is more than those Marbella Slags would.
Gerry has quoted me for the job - I'll PM you soon.

After last weeks comments I made sure I watched this week. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! I bet the dog looks better than that lot put together. Don't they all look old for their years, or, are they fibbing. Yes, her spary tan did make her look orange. Just goes to show, money can't buy you everything, especially not good taste and class.

Go Jeasis, go, exactly what I thought of her. That poor child, I think we should pinch him, I bet she wouldn't even notice.

Ahh'lll ave you knar she is a clarssy Essex bird - s'where i am from - (Irish blood I hasten to add) - you have to remember that we were Thatchers twenty somethings and taught to feel that greed was good - we spent massive amounts of dough on our Dagenham dustbins such as the XR3i and I myself owned two 3 litre Capris and then a 2.8i (before I went German of course) and the whole thing was whats the point in earning it if nobody knows you do.
Poor cow doesnt know any better as that is what she has grown up with all around her - City boys in their pinstripes with money to burn and a copy of the FT and the Sun under their arm - each to their own and at least she is able to laugh at herself - at least I hope so after what went out on air. Off to Milano next week eh - praps it will be sucky spaghetti time at the restaurant - QUALITY!

More used to people with flat caps, bags of coal and pints of broon ale, or so the world beyond Watford thinks! I disgraced me famly by moovin to posh Northumberland, man.

Couldn't believe that woman with the baby, did you see her out in the rain, so busy keeping herself dry she forgot to cover the baby up and it was soaked in the buggy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Getting hooked on the show, it draws you in doesn't it. can't believe people live like that.

I saw this for the first time last night and to be honest Im sure a lot of it is taken out of context. I do know of a couple of the ladies in the programme and whilst they seemed rough, their hearts are in the right place.
The programme doesnt give a balanced view at all of the rich mix of people living on the Costa at all - I should know - I live here too!
Enjoy it for what it is and to be honest it could have been filmed anywhere in the world.

maybe not anywhere..... a select few areas of the UK perhaps...........
Sorry I missed the Pucci episode......... hearts in the right place but women have no reason to sound like their husbands at a football match, I'm suprised that POSH was not too concerned about the "fags" being thrown on the floor.
Hard faced and really truly what i moved away from! In Middlesbrough!

Well thats true. I lived for a 3 year stint in Hertlepool, just down the road from M'boro and of course Newcastle.
It is a shame when ladies dont act like it but then I guess if they are happy who are we to judge?
Im from central London myself and over here one meets all sorts. Most out here are hardwoking normal people and saty away from that end of town

I'm from Newcastle. In the rough areas you will find people who swear a lot, BUT, they are real people, nothing plastic about any of them. If a woman was seen trying to keep her hair dry while her baby was getting wet she had better run fast. Yes, they do wear designer clothes. And for all those men out there, we still have men only clubs!
I live in Northumberland now, 20+ miles outside of Newcastle.

Obviously 2 episodes was as much as anyone could take of that crap. Even rubber-necking car crashes gets boring after a while.
I guess we'll just stick to re-runs of BL, eh Smiley?
