Xmas and New Year - are the supermarkets and shops still open?

Hi
Am visiting Calahonda from 22 December to 5 January and was wondering what it will be like over this time as regards facilities and shops being open. Are there any days to be aware of where things might close down?

Most shops will probably close early on the 24th and 31st, and be closed the 25th and 1st of Jan, but otherwise, bars, restaurants etc., will probably be open as usual. If you need anything on the holidays, Opencor supermarket is open every day of the year, usually to 1:00 or 2:00 am.
