The best way to ask a beer is saying: " Me podría dar una cerveza, por favor?", or with just a "cerveza" is enough.

Nope, still here...nice to see the thread resurrected and read through the amusing comments again, had a little chuckle at some of the comments.
'Una Pinta y una Caña por favor' has been used several times over the last few years with the desired result.
